Remember That You Will Die – The Music Video

Previous Education staffer, Eleanor Whitney, was so inspired by the Remember That You Will Die exhibition that she wrote a song about it for her band, Corita. In a never ending cycle of art inspiring art inspiring art, her friend, Leila Bourgougnoux,  created a music video of the song.

We’ve actually been thinking a lot about Remember That You Will Die this week.  David, Larissa and I went to go see the The Value of Water exhibition at The Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine, and unexpectedly happened upon  Bill Viola’s Three Women which was in the center of the RTYWD exhibition.  While the artwork was the same, it was completely transformed by its new surrounding at the Cathedral.  I wonder if will inspire another punk tune?
