Think–an IBM exhibit at Lincoln Center

This past Wednesday, Marcos and I had the privilege of visiting the THINK exhibit at Lincoln Center and met with Larry Goldberg of the Media Access Group who helped create the media based programs for access equality within the exhibition. The exhibit goal was to help visitors consider the advances achieved over the past century through technology and its role in our everyday lives. The exhibition was divided into three parts for visitors, 1) a 123 foot data wall showcasing “in real time” the mapping of data streaming and air quality, 2) an “immersive film” showing the achievements of technology through out the years, and 3) an interactive experience with 40 seven foot touch screens describing how technology will play a role in the future. Afterwards, Marcos and I discussed with Mr. Goldberg how they were able to use technology in the gallery to help promote accessibility and how it may play a role in other museums.  Overall the visit was an incredible interactive experience.

For more details about the exhibit feel free to explore the THINK exhibit website or feel free to write a review of the exhibit here.
