Professional Pilgrimage

The Rubin’s Education Department crossed the harbor to Staten Island where we visited the Jacques Marchais Museum of Tibetan Art. Meg Ventrudo, the museum’s Executive Director met with us, and we had a lively discussion on a number of topics including museum education, object preservation, exhibitions, budgets, outreach, and collaboration.

Ashley, Marcos, Marilyn, Andrew, Laura, Aoife, Pauline and I caught some sun outside the museum as we waited to return to the Rubin.
