One of the great joys I have working with such talented educators and artists is being surprised by unusual student works and displays in process. Now that we have a terrific Education Center, I pass by student works in drying racks, or on walls being prepared for critique. Sometimes, I even see projects in unconventional places.
This month, our Family Art Labs have been working on making maps, and students created a topographic reconstruction of the Himalayas. I happened upon this display above cubbies we use to store student backpacks.
