Queens College is returning to the Rubin Museum this Fall. We’re delighted that Professor Gopal Sukhu will be teaching his East Asian Civilization I course in our Education Center on Friday evenings again. Professor Sukhu’s course will weave together a wide range of topics throughout history, from the ancient civilizations of East Asia up to the T’ang dynasties of China and the medieval period of Japan. Along the way, he will provide in-depth comparative analysis of East Asian literature, philosophy, and visual culture, as well as frequent visits to our galleries. If you’re in the NYC area, there’s still time to register.
