Amazing Animals in the Gateway to Himalayan Art Exhibition

Every year the light-sensitive paintings in the Gateway to Himalayan Art exhibition are replaced with different works. Though we know what these rotations will be well in advance, when we see the paintings in the gallery there are always new discoveries to be made. In this particular rotation, an amazing narrative painting of the Life Story of Buddha Shakyamuni is exploding with unbelievable animals. I took out the macro lens attachment for my iPhone and created a small menagerie of micro animals.

Here’s the original . . . you can see why I needed the macro lens.
